A la veille du Steenrock, atelier-discussion pour militant·es engagé·es ou souhaitant le devenir : " Stratégie et partage d’expérience - Mettre fin aux expulsions et stopper les vols collectifs "
discussion interactive sur le système d’immigration au Royaume-Uni (et en Belgique) et sur les expulsions, avec des suggestions d’implications et d’actions. Cet atelier sera surtout un espace pour partager idées et expériences.

Nous explorerons notamment :
 Pourquoi doit-on arrêter les expulsions de masse (d’un point de vue moral et tactique : comment cette lutte s’intègre dans le contexte politique actuel au Royaume-Uni et en Belgique).
 Présentation d’un cas concret d’action dans une stratégie visant à mettre fin aux expulsions de masse.
 étapes pratiques : comment les participant·es peuvent s’impliquer.

L’atelier sera animé par des membres des collectifs anglais End deportations et Lesbians and gays support the migrants.
Le court-métrage ‘Violent Borders’, créé par l’un des membres de End deportations et STRIKE ! Magazine sera projeté.
Une grande partie des discussions sera en anglais mais une interprète pourra traduire si nécessaire.

Aan de vooravond van de Steenrock, workshop-discussie voor activisten : "Strategie en ervaringsdeling - Stop de huisuitzettingen en stop met de collectieve vluchten "

Doe mee met ons voor een interactieve discussie over het immigratiesysteem in het VK (en België) en deprtaties met suggesties voor implicaties en acties vanuit een strategisch perspectief. Deze workshop zal vooral een ruimte zijn om de ideeën en ervaringen te delen.

We zullen verkennen :

 Waarom zouden we stoppen met massale uitwijzingen (vanuit een moreel en tactisch oogpunt : hoe deze strijd past in de huidige politieke context in het Verenigd Koninkrijk en België).

 Presentatie van een concreet geval van directe actie in een strategie om een ​​einde te maken aan massale uitwijzingen.

 De praktische stappen die laten zien hoe deelnemers kunnen meedoen.

De workshop wordt gemodereerd door leden van twee Engelse collectieven. End deportations &Lesbians and gays support the migrants .

Tijdens deze workshop wordt de korte film ’Violent Borders’ gemaakt door een van de leden van End Deportations en STRIKE ! Magazine zal worden vertoond.

Meestal in het engels, maar een tolk zal indien nodig kunnen vertalen.

With the Steenrock festival approaching, let’s meet for a discussion-workshop with activists engaged in those issues or interested in doing so : "Strategy and experience sharing - put an end to deportations and stop collective flights".

Join us for an interactive discussion on the immigration system in the United Kingdom (and in Belgium) and on deportations, with suggestions of involvement and actions in a strategic perspective. This workshop will mainly be a space to share ideas and experiences.

We will explore, among other things :

 Why mass deportations have to stop (from a moral and tactical point of view : how this fight integrates the current political context in the United Kingdom and Belgium).

 Introduction of a concrete case of direct action in a strategy aiming at putting an end to mass deportations.

 The practical steps presenting how the participants can get involved.

The workshop will be facilitated by members of two English collectives ’End deportations’ and ’Lesbians and gays support the migrants’.

The short film ‘Violent Borders’, created by one member of End deportations and STRIKE ! Magazine will be shown.

Most of the discussions will happen in English but there will be an interpreter if needed.
