Le dimanche 26 mai à Bruxelles, lors d’une manifestation déclarée et pacifique , pour revendiquer plus de justice sociale, les Gilets Jaunes se font arrêter préventivement.

Le samedi 12 octobre à Bruxelles, lors de la Royal Rebellion organisée par le groupe non violent Extinction Rebellion Belgium, qui avait pour but de demander l’instauration de l’état d’urgence climatique et la mise en place de mesures ambitieuses et contraignantes, se sont produites des violences policières inacceptables dans un état de droit comme la Belgique !

‼️Néanmoins la violence policière n’est pas un fait nouveau en Belgique, plusieurs minorités sont victimes d’harcèlement policier journalier. Il est temps que cela cesse!

Après de telles répressions, nous devons nous unir pour faire entendre notre voix! Rassemblons-nous devant l’Hôtel de ville de Bruxelles ce lundi 21 octobre à 18h, où se tiendra le prochain conseil communal de la ville de Bruxelles.

A l’exigence de justice sociale et climatique, la seule réponse est la répression.

La banalisation des violences policières est particulièrement préoccupante. Cette situation ne peut durer, nous devons y répondre et visibiliser cette situation.

Nous précisons que ce sera une démonstration statique, non-violente. Des prises de paroles, des témoignages seront organisés.

26 Mei, 12 oktober zijn dagelijks voor sommigen....

Zondag 26 mei, gedurende een aangevraagde en pacifistische betoging, om meer sociale rechtvaardigheid te eisen, werden de Gele Hesjes preventief aangehouden.

Zaterdag 12 Oktober, gedurende de Royal Rebellion georganiseerd door pacifistische activisten van Extinction Rebellion Belgium⁉️met als doel de uitroep voor de klimaatnoodstand af te dwingen en een ambitieus en sociaal rechtvaardig klimaatplan te eisen, waren het slachtoffer van extreem en onaanvaardbaar politiegeweld in de rechtstaat België.

‼️Desondanks is politiegeweld geen nieuw fenomeen in België, vele minderheden zijn dagelijks het slachtoffer van politiegeweld. Het wordt tijd dat er een einde aan komt!

Na zulke repressie, moeten we onze stem laten horen! Laten we samenkomen op maandag 21 oktober voor het stadhuis van Brussel, waar de volgende plenaire zitting van de stad Brussel zal plaatsvinden!

Op het eisen van klimaat en sociaal rechtvaardigheid, is repressie het enige antwoord.

De banalisering van politiegeweld is enorm verontrustend. Deze situatie mag niet voortduren, we moeten hier op antwoorden en onze situatie visualiseren.

We benadrukken dat het een statische, pacifistische demonstratie is. Getuigenissen en speeches staan op het programma.

Days like the 26th of May and the 12th of October are daily for some...

On Sunday the 26th of May, during a requested pacifist demonstration to demand more social justice, the Yellow Vests were preventively arrested.

Then on Saturday the 12th of October during the Royal Rebellion organised by pacifist activist of Extinction Rebellion Belgium with the purpose to demand that the King declares the climate emergency and to demand a socially just climate plan, they became the victim of extreme and unacceptable police voilence in the rule of law Belgium.

!!Despite this, police violence isn’t a new phenomenon in Belgium. A lot of minorities are the vicitm of police violence on a daily basis. It is time this ends!

After such repression we have to let our voice be heard! Let’s gather on Monday the 21st of October in front of the city hall of Brussels, where the next plenary session of the city of Brussels will take place!

Apparently the only answer to demanding climate and social justice is repression...

The trivialisation of police violence is disturbing. This situation cannot continue, we have to answer this and visualise our situation.
