Combien nous coûte la police ? Que savons-nous de la police ? Qu’y a’t il après la police ?
Pour en apprendre plus sur le fonctionnement actuel de la police et surtout pour envisager des manières de le dépasser, venez avec nous ce samedi 5 septembre au décor atelier penser les premières formes d’un monde où l’argent que nous investissons actuellement dans le système policier servirait autrement.
Par exemple, une partie des fonds pourraient être redistribués dans les services de base : santé public, logement, éducation, prévention des addictions, santé mentale. Autant de secteurs dans lesquels les moyens financiers et humains disparaissent progressivement. En même temps les dépenses du secteur policier ainsi que la criminalisation augmentent.

Cette réflexion est menée avec Headquarters of The Mouvement et l’ensemble des activistes internationaux qui agissent en ce moment pour construire un monde où la police est profondément restructurée.

Hoeveel kost de politie ons ? Wat weten we over de politie ? Wat kan er na de politie komen ?
Om meer te weten te komen over hoe de politie vandaag de dag werkt en vooral om na te denken over manieren om voorbij de politie te geraken, kom deze zaterdag 5 september naar de workshop om na te denken over de eerste contouren van een wereld waarin het geld dat we nu in het politiesysteem investeren, anders zou worden gebruikt.
Deze middelen zouden bijvoorbeeld kunnen worden herverdeeld in basisvoorzieningen : volksgezondheid, huisvesting, onderwijs, verslavingspreventie, geestelijke gezondheidszorg. Dit zijn allemaal terreinen waar de financiële middelen geleidelijk aan verdwijnen. Tegelijkertijd nemen de uitgaven van de politiesector en de criminalisering toe.

Deze reflectie wordt gevoerd met Headquarters of The Mouvement en met dank aan alle internationale activisten die op dit moment ageren om een wereld op te bouwen waarin de politie ingrijpend wordt geherstructureerd.

How much does the police cost us ? What do we know about the police ? What is behind it ?
To find out more about how the police work today and, above all, to think about ways forward, come with us to the workshop this Saturday 5 September to reflect on the first forms of a world in which the money we are now investing in the police system would be used differently.
